Krystal Reyes's star-studded 18th Birthday11:01 PM
Hers is not the name you often read about in social media or when entertainment columnists rant about celebrity mishaps. There's a few mention of her in the chismis world. That's because she maintained a humble personality, selling her talent and not her celebrity status.

But when you look at her credentials, Krystal Reyes has a lot to be proud of. She has been part of 13 drama series. Yes, for an 18 year-old actress, 13 drama series is massive!
She debuted in Bakekang in 2006 and got her lead role at the age of 11 in Mga Mata ni Anghelita in 2007. After a few offbeat roles in La Vendetta (2007), Lalola (2008) and Rosalinda and Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin (2009), she was among the lead actors in the family fantasy-comedy series Bantatay in 2010. Her proudest years are in 2011 and 2012 where she starred in back-to-back big roles in Mga Munting Heredera, Hiram Na Puso, and Hindi Ka Mag-iisa.

Last year, she was among the trio of lead stars who surprised primetime by raking in huge ratings in the remake of Anna Karenina alongside Barbie Forteza and Joyce Ching. She did Carmela early this year with Marian Rivera and Alden Richards and she is scheduled to do another soap with TAPE Productions with the working title Anyo ng Pag Ibig.
None of her projects were in the teen-oriented genre. That's maybe because Krystal is not your usual teeny-bopper young star. She is set to portray characters that are designed to inspire people and to strengthen family bonds. She is not a Twitter-trending material because she is not exaggerating her love life and she's also not involved in cold cat fights with her fellow teen star. She is just here to make inspiring characters come to life.
This is why it's no surprise that Krystal attracted a lot of GMA's stars to attend her debut party last weekend. No less than Marian Rivera gave her a debut dress and she was greeted with genuine wishes by other Kapuso actresses Camille Prats, Kris Bernal, Bea Binene, Barbie Forteza and Joyce Ching among others. Also, part of her 18 Roses and well-wishers are Kenneth Paul Cruz, Derrick Monasterio, Kristofer Martin and rumored boyfriend Julian Trono.
