Party Pilipinas Move (Part 2 of 3)

Miss Saigon would go down in our history as the stage musical which opened Filipinos' eyes to theater. When West End producers scaled for talents almost 20 years ago, they didn't find talents in Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand but found gems in the Philippines. We were very proud of course, with Lea Salonga, Monique Wilson, Isay Alvarez, Joanna Ampil, and many others wowing the world later on with their impeccable talents.

Now, another West End company is staging Miss Saigon in London and they are in the lookout for another great set of talents. News on Miss Saigon 2012 Manila auditions broke out like wild fire. Reportedly, only 6 actresses were shortlisted for the lead role Kim during November 22's auditions. They were Rachelle Ann Go, Frencheska Farr, and theater actresses Tanya Manalang, Kim Chiu, Emerald Bañares and Mary Jane Solomon. There are no news yet on who landed the role.

A weekend after, Sunday TV Musical show Party Pilipinas came up with their own Miss Saigon- inspired production. Below are some of the photos and a video.
