A Day to B-Day at Scintillating Sentosa

5:54 AM

Lance got so many treats for his 22nd birthday. Travelling to Singapore and splurging in the Great Singapore Sale is more than a reward and a celebration for another year added to his life. As if the scheduled revelry at the Universal Studios Singapore on his birthday itself (June 15, 2012) would not be enough, I joined Lance to an unplanned prelude in the charming island of Sentosa a day before his birthday.

We started our scintillating Sentosa adventure after our HarbourFront MRT stop and boarded Asia's first cable car for our transfer from mainland Singapore to Sentosa Island. We saw a few rides including Sentosa Luge as we walk all the way down to Resorts World Sentosa. We used 5 floors of escalators before we arrived at Sentosa's very own Merlion statue. It is one of the Merlion statues scattered around Singapore with the original national symbol erected adjacent to the Marina Bay Sands.

On our way down to Resorts World Sentosa, we saw a little spot we deemed perfect for another one of those unplanned photo sessions. That area is very near the Ostrich Park and luckily for us, they were very few people in the area.

So, be the judge. Is the birthday boy all pump up for his big day?

The birthday boy of course succumbed to the vibrant colors of Resorts World Sentosa and took photos of himself in almost every corner. Join him on his lavish birthday countdown.

Of course, he asked me to take a series of jump shots.
Another wish granted birthday boy!

"Nope. We are not going in there today.
Universal Studios is reserved for your birthday", I told the birthday boy.
But he insisted on a photo even just outside and with this famous landmark as his background.
